Happy Valley Retreat nestles amongst the hills surrounding the Queensland border town of Stanthorpe. Tranquillity is assured as our 20 private timber cabins and suites are scattered throughout 30 acres of beautiful Australian bushland. Yet we are only a 5 minute drive from Stanthorpe town centre.

Girraween National Park is only 25 minutes away and the trip passes plenty of wineries and other attractions. Bald Rock National Park is a scenic 35 minute drive. So why not hike during the day and relax in comfort at night?

Kangaroos, wallabies, possums and an array of native Australian birds call Happy Valley home and can be seen throughout the property during your stay. To see even more native flora and fauna, enjoy a stroll along one of the walking tracks that lead from our property into the Broadwater State Forest.

As the sun goes down, join us in the main homestead for a drink at the bar trying the beers made on-site at our micro brewery or wines from the district. The rustic ambience, open fireplace ensure a relaxed atmosphere in which to unwind before moving to the dining room for a heart-warming meal showcasing the local produce.
