Happy Valley Retreat nestles amongst the hills surrounding the Queensland border town of Stanthorpe. Tranquillity is assured as our 20 private timber cabins and suites are scattered throughout 30 acres of beautiful Australian bushland. Yet we are only a 5 minute drive from Stanthorpe town centre.

Kangaroos, wallabies, possums and an array of native Australian birds call Happy Valley home and can be seen throughout the property during your stay. To see even more native flora and fauna, enjoy a stroll along one of the walking tracks that lead from our property into the Broadwater State Forest.

As the sun goes down, join us in the main homestead for a drink at the bar. The rustic ambience, open fireplace and piano ensure a relaxed atmosphere in which to unwind before moving to the dining room for a heart-warming meal showcasing the local produce.

    Happy Valley is situated in Queenslands premier wine region on the Granite Belt, within the Southern Downs. We are a 40 minutes from Warwick, 70 minutes from Toowoomba and 3.5 hours from the Gold Coast. The Happy Valley Homestead Restaurant is one of Stanthorpes best a-la-carte restaurants.
