We stayed last weekend 9-11 Sep with a group from Brisbane. We just wanted to complement you on your establishment. We had stayed there a few years ago and were pleased to hear it had survived after news of its then sale.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time, enjoyed the wood fires, the location, entertainment, conviviality & great food on Saturday night. I hope that you have continued success and will be around for a long time so we can come back.

Thank you so much for your hospitality on the weekend – we all had a lovely time.  The food was superb!  Compliments to the chef!  Your staff were all very friendly and very accommodating.  The cabins were very cosy and comfortable.  I especially liked the spa  

We all had a great time on our wine tour with Jack – thank you to him also and Fillipo’s for a great day out. 

 

We have all brought a little bit of Stanthorpe home with us to enjoy and will be sure to come back again.

 

Thank you also to Valerie for all her help organising our weekend and answering all my questions.

 Hi there – we stayed with you over the Easter long weekend and would like to say a big THANKYOU! We had a wonderful time in Cabin 15 and thought all your special touches both in the cabin and the restaurant were lovely from the fluffy towels and fantastic water pressure in the shower to the hot cross buns at breakfast on Sunday through to the kids packs at dinner.

We cannot sing your praises high enough!

My partner Craig and I, thoroughly enjoyed our Saturday night stay at Happy Valley.  The evening meal in the restaurant was lovely and the steak was cooked to perfection.  The leisurely breakfast was scrumptious, the cabin was very comfortable, and thanks for the later check-out on Sunday.

Hi Valerie, Geoff and Dee

  

I would just like to thank you all for your hospitality in looking after my friends & colleagues at our overnight stay last Saturday night the 10th July. All of my passengers would return to your establishment again, without hesitation. We really appreciated the high standard of the way you presented breakfast. The courtesy of the staff, presentation of the table & meal were all of the highest standard for which we were very grateful for.

 

In hindsight next time we would probebly choose to dine in, rather then out as it would allow my guests more time to unwind, relax and enjoy their stay at the retreat without the hassle of running here and there elsewhere. 

 

The ladies who had the massages were very happy with them, so hopefully having more time on our hands next time would allow more people the opportunity to experience this as well.

 

Thanking you all once again and I am sure I will be back in touch with you the same time next year or even sooner.

 Dear Happy Valley Owners,

  The Jones family who had cabins 5,6,7,8,9 all wish to thank you for a  lovely weekend – we were in Stanthorpe for a long awaited Jones family reunion. We loved our cabins and thought they were very well appointed and comfortable and also our cooked brekkies on Saturday were well presented and tasted fantastic. The Staff also were very polite and helpful so a big thank you to them also.

 

You made our trip back to Stanthorpe pleasant and if we ever get the chance again we will certainly stay with you and will recommend your resort to any of our friends who might venture down your way.

I just wanted to let you know that we had an absolutely wonderful time, whilst staying @ Happy Valley Retreat over the weekend. From the initial booking enquiry, up until the moment we left, the service was perfect. I can safely say that I have never experienced someone who placed so much emphasis on making our stay so memorable. The facilities offered in the cabin & the food served in the restaurant was phenomenal.

 I will definitely let anyone who is within cooee distance know that if they are heading to Stanthorpe, to stay @ your venue.

Geoff, Dee, and Valerie, you really spoiled us. We enjoyed every part of our stay, lovely little cabin for five nights in a nice quiet spot, wildlife and bushwalks, fireplace, and the meal “experience” at your restaurant was really special – thanks again.

When we arrived home (Mount Isa), we found that summer had well and truly arrived, which made the memory of the cold weather and enjoying the fireplace even better.
